Hi, I am Sean Clarke. I started here in 2004 as Deputy Headteacher and before that I worked in Italy at an International School. I became the Acting Headteacher in January 2009 and was appointed Headteacher with effect from September 2009. I look forward to the challenges ahead but know I lead a great school, with amazing children, dedicated staff and supportive parents. In my current role I want to build on the wonderful work done by Mr Richardson, the previous head ,and make West End School a special place for everyone associated with it. I want it to be a warm, safe, caring school with a positive ethos to learning. A place where children are challenged through a creative curriculum and have the oportunities to develop the skills needed for the 21st Century. I Iove spending time with friends, photography, music and have a passion for fresh coffee. I hate dishonesty and bad manners. Outside of school I enjoy family life with my wife and three young children. They keep me on my toes. I am currently improving my house and learning lots of new skills, such as dry stone walling, plastering and electrics. |
