Teaching Staff

Hello!  I’m Angie Smith, Upper Foundation/Y1 teacher and Science Leader.  I started here in January 1998.  I love being outdoors, walking, cycling, camping, swimming and listening to Radio 4!   I hate bananas and I get annoyed when people drop litter around.  I hope that when I leave teaching, I have a very long, healthy and happy retirement.

Hi!  I’m Vicki Hammond, Y6 teacher, ICT leader and MFL leader.  I started working here in January 2002 and I absolutely love it!  I really enjoy the fact that no two days are ever the same and it is a continuous challenge.  I haven’t quite mastered work life balance yet but in the little bit of spare time I do get, I like to chill out with family and friends.  I’ve got a gorgeous but mad black Labrador called Xain.   I hate housework and it drives me mad when people drop litter.  I would love to travel around Australia and New Zealand and I also want to visit the pyramids in Egypt .  

Hi!  I’m Sarah Brooks, Y2 teacher, RE leader and PHSCE leader.  I started working here in September 1998.  I love being outside on our field in hot, sunny weather.  I also love Harry Potter books and chocolate!  I don’t like tiny creepy crawlies or our Y2 SATs.   I really want to learn more about computers so that I do not always have to ask for help for simple problems.   Oh, and I want to be a permanent size 10!

Hi! I'm Jill Bavester, Early Years Co-ordinator, Learning Leader (Sure Start), and KS1 Co-ordinator.  I started work here in 1996.  I love spending time with family and friends, going walking, holidays and coffee shops!  I hate falling out and general bad behaviour.  I have no real hidden desires!!!
